With this kit the swirl flaps can be removed and holes plugged. The swirl flaps are, together with the EGR valve and DPF one of the weak spots of the euro 4 JTDm engine. The durability of the standard flap mechanism is weak and can lead to engine damage if the flaps detach. This makes the removal a must have for every JTDm driver.
