Description
In the factory design, the oil pickup pipe located in the oil pan is sealed to the oil pump with an axially pressed rubber piece. After years of usage, this seal will start to leak, decreasing the oil pressure feeding the engine, especially during a cold start. At the Giulia and Stelvio 2.2 JTD it is not uncommon to have low oil pressure during full acceleration because of a bad seal, with a very high risk of engine damage. With this flange the seal is no longer axially, but radially inside the oil pump housing with two Viton O ring seals, which is a far more reliable solution. The flange is an aluminium 6061 high precision CNC part with a hard anodized finish.
