The FMIC has the function to lower the charge-air temperature. A lower temperature leads to less thermal engine stress and more dense air. This results in more output and an improved reliability of engine and turbo.
The standard intercooler is not optimal regards to thickness, flow and positioning. In higher horsepower applications this quickly becomes a restriction because the intake air temperature increases, with lower output and less reliability as a result.
This intercooler kit fills this need completely with a significantly bigger volume and optimal position.
The kit contains a aluminium bar and plate type intercooler, piping and silicone hoses in blue or black color, clamps, fasteners and a manual.
